Kiss of Skye (Skye Druids Book #8) by Donna Grant [REVIEW]

SPORTOCHICK’S MUSINGS: Author Donna Grant does a fantastic job of building the intense storyline and the slow burn between Mason and Rowan. Readers will be thrilled with this book.

He’s a secret wrapped in sin—power in every step, temptation in every breath.

He moves through danger like it belongs to him. I should be afraid.

Instead, I ache.

Everything around us is a threat, but the moment he touches me, the fear disappears.

His mouth is a promise. His body a weapon.

And I don’t know which one will break me first.

I tell myself this is survival—that the heat between us is just adrenaline, a temporary madness.

But when he looks at me like I’m the only thing that matters, the truth cuts deep. This isn’t madness.

It’s obsession.

Need.

And it’s already too late to stop.

He’s my temptation.

The mistake I’ll make again and again.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant delivers a sensual, high-stakes story of magic, danger, and the kind of love that dares the dark to strike in the Skye Druids series.

For those of us who have been reading the Sky Druids series, we have been curious if Ferne’s brother, Mason, is part of the bad London Druid’s group or if he has reasons for pretending he was. To read Ferne’s story, check out Heart of Glass: Skye Druids, Book 3. This book will answer all your questions and more.

Mason is high up in the London druid’s, but he may of gotten himself in some trouble with said druids. Injured and running for his life he basically falls into Rowan an American druid who was invited to meet the London druid’s group. Rowan has decided they are not what she thought and wants to leave.

What follows is a fast paced, action-packed adventure that leads the readers on an exciting journey of danger. Mason and Rowan must rely on each other to stay alive and they rush to Skye seeking protection from the Skye druids.

What I love about this book is you are never quite sure where the twists and turns are to the story. It’s also not clear for a while if going to Skye puts them in worse danger than London. What is clear is that Rowan sees a broader picture of all the druids so she can help her San Juan Isles druids.

Author Donna Grant does a fantastic job of building the intense storyline and the slow burn between Mason and Rowan. Readers will be thrilled with this book.
