Sincerely, The Duke – Say I Do trilogy by Amelia Grey – Review

SPORTOCHICK’S MUSINGS: Once again Amelia Grey gives her readers a delightful swoon worthy read with characters Rick, Duke of Stonerick and Miss Edwina Fine.

Sincerely, The Duke was a highly entertaining read including the sparring between Rick and his mother, Alberta Fellows Cosworth, Dowager Duchess of Stonerick regarding his matrimonial prospects and lack of providing her grandchildren. Since many of us have been at the tail end of a conversation like this in our life time I found it added to the setup of the storyline making me laugh and commiserate with Rick.

The first meeting between Rick and Edwina was brilliant and engaging. The authors delightful friction between the couple with a touch of humor makes this story believable and draws the reader into the storyline. I like that the author created a strong intelligent leading lady that thinks outside the norms of the time she lived in.

The author didn’t stop at a just a strong heroine but she added drama to the story with the secrets that the Rick and Edwina are hiding from each other that keeps pushing this reader to the very end to see how the two resolve their secrets.

There were some areas that I would of liked expanded in details but that did not take away from the overall read.

Since I never give away a story I will stop here and tell you that this book is entertaining and a book you don’t want to miss reading.

I give this book 4 Stars for being thoroughly entertaining.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are mine.
